  1. Wow another huge success for one of our brilliant Dance Crews SHAKEDOWN CREW, who have once again qualified for the 6 Nations and World Championships in UDO, one of the biggest Urban Dance Competitions in the UK.

Attending the qualifier on Sunday June 19th, four of our street crews showed the judges just how brilliant they were be performing on the stage at the Riviera Centre in Torquay, up against some very tough competition from around the UK. Kick Back Kids, Dauntless, Agenda and Shakedown Crew did us proud on the main stage all placing well. Shakedown Crew gained a 4rth place but were 0.5 off of 2nd place! So close!

We are very proud of our Solo winners, Elliot Ambrose gaining a 4th place Trophy and Ellie Swann 7th Place in over 16yrs, and our brilliant due Ellie Swann and Lydon Jackson also gained qualification to both the Worlds and 6 Nations by gaining 1st place in over 16yrs. It was a very tough competition this year and we are very proud of all of our competing students who almost every time got through the final rounds of each solo and duo comp.

Well done to you, you totally smashed it and we cannot wait for more team comps so you can show the world what you are made of!

  2. Wow, what fantastic results we have had, yet again, this year at our IDTA Dance Examinations. With just over 80 students taking exams we had such fantastic results which not only shows us all what fantastic talent our students have and just how hard they work, but also the time put in by our fantastic teachers!

With all students, yes that's right, all students achieving Highly Commended and two thirds of our students achieving honours, we could not have been prouder!

Students took IDTA Exams on February 22nd at Carrick Sports and Recreation Hall in Truro, in Freestyle/Contemporary, Streetdance and IDTA Musical Theatre. Despite a few nerves during the day they pulled it out of the bag for the lovely IDTA Examiner Mr Hopkins.

Well done to all of our super talented and hardworking students who put the time in to be the best that they can be, at the thing that they love and enjoy the most. We couldn't be more proud!
