  1. Our fantastic Christmas Show 'Sleeping Beauty' was a brilliant success and our 'Maleficient' Sephina Sharpe showed us the dark side of this Beautiful Fairy Tale.

Students from all over Cornwall became part of a semi professional cast performing either a lot of various routines throughout the show, holding a main character and performing in dance throughout or just in a sigle routine showing off what they have learnt throughout the term.

We are very proud of how all of the students behaved both onstage and off. The tech run and two shows ran smoothly and with students performing to packed audiences.

Having had fantastic feedback about the students and show, and the modern twist on this old fairytale, we cannot wait for our next show The Beast' at the Hall for Cornwall, this Summer 2017.

  2. On July 3rd all of our Cornwall Dance Students and students from 3Dance Co in Newquay performed at our Annual Hall for Cornwall Show 'Arabian Nights'. Starring Kia Wing as Jasmine and James Pearn as Haji the street thief, the show was based on Aladdin, but with our very own Cornwall Dance School twist.

We love putting our Hall for Cornwall Shows together and so do our students, we had so much fun this year with Arabian themed routines, from Contemporary to Street and Breakdance. And to top it off our Musical Theatre numbers pulled the show together to create the storyline that went down a storn at the summer show.

With our fantastic teachers we pieced together the dances and the drama and the students worked hard on solos, duos and group pieces to create such a brilliant show full of talent and beaming with smiles from all. We had brilliant feedback from parents who couldn't praise the students enough and we couldn't be more proud of our rising stars, how much they progress and grow underneath the Cornwall Dance Banner!

Well done to you all and congratulations on our brilliant 3rd Annual Hall for Cornwall Show produced by CDS!
