Parents and pupils from the Dance school arrived bright and early on wednesday morning, eager to help the Samaritans charity in their quest for awareness!

'There is a misconception about the Samaritans, that our helpline is only for those that are thinking of ending their lives, but we help everyone, in every situation, at any time! Today is National Awareness for the Samaritans, we want all people of all ages to understand that we can help them, if ever they need us!' Emalee Caton (Events Organisor for the Samaritans Cornwall).

Emalee asked Cornwall Dance if we could put together a flash mob to spread the awarenss and of course Cornwall Dance said yes!!!

We had so much fun helping them out on the day! We did two dances alltogether and not only did parents and friends, along with students get involved but members of the public joined in also, with a simple routine designed to include everybody! So a massive thanks to the Samaritans for inviting us and for being such fun on the day!!

'Many many thanks to all who danced in todays event on the Piaza! It was great- you did an amazing job! Many many thanks from all at Cornwall Samaritans at Truro!!!' Emalee Caton (Events Organisor for the Samaritans Cornwall).

Picture's were taken by the West Briton and all the students got a chance to be on the radio (with BBC Radio Cornwall)!
