  1. Our students had a brilliant time and a great opportunity to perform to the masses on one of the biggest stages and tents at the Royal Cornwall Show - when they were invited to perform on the BBC Radio Cornwall Stage!

They had a fantastic time meeting the BBC Radio Cornwall Staff and performed to the masses throughout the day!

Our singers Paige Brown (Starred as Belle in our show 'The Beast') performed 'How does a Moment last Forever' and another CDS singer Ceri Hillman and Teacher and Pianist Darren Ball, performed songs by Sam Smith. Our Elite Team Seniors performed their group piece and Solos and Duos that they had prepared for Competitions and performances.

They handled the stage like professionals - and performed to perfection, we were all very proud!

And then of course, we all headed off to have a look around and go on the rides!

A great day had by all, well done CDS members!

  2. Our students took to the stage with other talented dancers from all over Cornwall and performed alongside the likes of Duwane Taylor and Frederick Folkes, two fantastic teachers focused on the fundamentals of Street Styles of Dance!

Students took workshops throughout the day from these fantastic tutors and Artists and then took to the stage to perform their Crew Pieces. With both Vibe and Elite Team Seniors performing their competition pieces on the stage at The Keay Theatre in St Austell!

And what a performance it was, the students did us proud and were absolutely brilliant. And the loveliest part of the day was to see them bonding and working together with each other and other dancers from around Cornwall.

    Well done dancers!
